The Artist
Classically trained.
Trap-raised.
Atlanta-raised, now based in LA, Clejan is a classically trained violinist who built his name flipping trap and hip-hop records through the bow — original music, viral covers, and a sound nobody else owns. Fans and press call him The Trap Violinist.
The Trapeau Arabica collaboration started the way most real Dope Coffee partnerships do: not in a boardroom, but in conversation. Dope Coffee CEO Michael Loyd and Clejan connected after a festival performance, and what started as two people talking about specialty coffee turned into a coffee blend carrying his name.
“It’s smooth. I like the smell, I like how smooth it is — got a nice little ping of bitter, but a good bitter. I can taste the Arabica.”
— Clejan
The whole idea traces back to Clejan's debut album, The Way That I Fiddle — the project that first put classical violin over trap production and turned heads. This drop carries that same fusion into a cup: classical elegance, beats and bass, roasted.
