Our Tanzania 'Korongo' Peaberry is a dark-roasted, never bitter sensation from the highlands of East Africa. Korongo means Flamingo in Swahili. Sourced from the Southern Highlands of Tanzania, this peaberry bean attracts immediate attention with its pronounced sweet berry and floral notes, full body and prominent acidity. 84+ SCA cup.
ABOUT OUR COFFEES
The Tanzania Peaberry bean is is compliance with RFA and cultivated by intercropping with corn, beans, groundnuts, sunflower and ginger. The peaberry cherry is hand-harvested and fermented, then dried on raised beds lined with parchment for 14-20 days before curating 2-3 months.
